In my college days, I wanted to buy a motorbike. In those days there was a trend or riding motorbikes mostly and I was also crazy about them but I didn’t know at all that what to do, which motorbike should I prefer at the beginning and which one is comfortable so that I can ride easily in the starting. So, I started learning about motorbikes, the types of motorbikes and their features but mostly the reviews were spamming and not even a single article gave me a complete, thorough information about motorbikes.

So, I decided that time that I would definitely write an article about motorbikes and their types so that the beginners and all others could gain some information about them. The more you know about the Types of Motorbikes, the more you are capable of selecting the right one for you because everyone wants to be the best bike rider and people love biking a lot. Now, at this stage of my life, I have bikes whichever I  had wanted, by the grace or Lord and I am a good bike rider now. What are Motorbikes?  

So starting from the very basic. Motorbikes are also called bikes or motorcycles, are two or three-wheeled motor vehicles of various designs to meet different purposes like sports, long-distance traveling, road driving and cruising etc.

  1. Off-road motorbikes

Off-road motorbikes are those that are designed for rough surfaces or those places which are not paved like sand, dirt, snowy areas etc. Off-road motorbikes are also called dirt bikes. Size

Sitting position  

 While riding a dirt bike, you are in mixed sitting and standing posture. All you need to do for riding a dirt bike is to lean yourself forward on it by keeping your arms in an upright position and your elbows out, away from your body. Your head must be positioned over the handlebars in a crouching position and knees should grip the bike’s gas tank in order to have a firm grip. They are available in large varieties.

Scooters are available in different sizes and styles; they are kind of interesting there is also another class of scooters that are called as maxi scooters that gives more power and having more powerful engines than other scooters. The available size ranges from 50cc to 60cc and more larger sizes than these.

Sitting position

The wheels of scooters are much smaller than other motorbikes but this helps you to meet your feet on the ground and make you feel good. It has a unique step-through design feature in it. These are gorgeous and sleek looking high technology bikes that carry a lot of gears and are speedier than tour bikes.

These bikes are large in size but have a little bit of carrying capacity.

Sports tour motorbikes are also heavier in weight.

Sitting position

Its sitting position is very comfortable and is not like the sports bike sitting position that is uncomfortable for a normal bike rider.

These bikes are expensive but not so much, you can take one that is affordable for you.
